Identifying opportunities to provide aged care clients with additional advice.

Commonly, aged care advice is focussed on the resident’s position at the time of entry, however changes whilst a resident is in care can give rise to new advice opportunities.

This article examines several changes that that could occur while a resident is in care and looks at how additional advice could assist. The scenarios consider:
– Assessment of the former home;
– Change in living arrangements; and
– Death of a partner.
